China's charity cause in the beginning
China's charity cause is still in the initial stage. A study in 2002 showed that China's per capita contributions to only 0.92 yuan, a total of more than 10 million, was about one in the gross domestic product. And the United States compared with 2003 per capita contributions to the United States 828.7 U.S. dollars, accounting for GDP of 2.19 percent. China and the United States per capita charitable donations difference between a 73-fold. Despite different national conditions, China's share of contributions to the less worthy of our serious consideration.
